Megan Freeman

Megan is an E-RYT 500 and RPYT certified yoga teacher with a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, specializing in the mental health benefits of yoga. Raised by a dietitian and fitness enthusiast, she was introduced to yoga at a young age, but truly connected with the practice while studying dance in college where she experienced its powerful impact on the nervous system, self-esteem, and holistic well-being.

Since 2021, Megan has led accredited 200- hour and 300-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainings that she personally developed. Drawing from her background in dance, anatomy, and somatic science, she offers heart-centered classes with options for everyBODY and all levels of experience. Her specialties include yoga for nervous system regulation, breath physiology, alignment for all body types, and integrative seasonal wellness (incorporating principles of Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbalism, Macro Balancing, and Pro-Metabolic Health)

Megan teaches a wide range of styles including beginner, vinyasa, power, hatha, yin, restorative, yoga nidra, prenatal/postpartum/fertility, meditation, mindfulness, and sound baths in both group and private lessons formats. Her mission is to create safe, healing spaces where students can restore and thrive, living more fully and sharing their light with others. Her guiding mantra as a teacher: “May I be an instrument of peace. Where there is hate, let me sow love. Where there is hurt, let me bring healing. Where there is darkness, let me be light..”
